About the Position

As an environmental engineer with us, you will play a key role in ensuring a good physical work environment within the authority. You will belong to the HR department, where you will be a colleague to an HR administrator and three HR specialists - one of whom works with the authority's organizational and social work environment. In your role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing issues related to the physical work environment. In addition to office premises, the authority has various types of laboratory operations. The authority is certified in occupational health and safety according to ISO45001, and in your role, you will work with other quality specialists to manage and develop the management system.

You are a central resource supporting managers in their work environment responsibilities through advice and ensuring structure and creating good conditions for work environment efforts to function in practice. In many matters, you are not the one carrying out practical measures, but you ensure that the right actor is involved, and you follow processes and maintain the overall picture.

Responsibilities

You will, among other things:

• Coordinate and develop the systematic work environment efforts (SAM) related to the physical work environment
• Manage and develop the work related to the management system, including participating in internal and external audits
• Participate in and drive the work in the authority's safety committee
• Support managers in their work environment responsibilities and create conditions for effective preventive work
• Participate in risk assessments, safety rounds, and incident investigations as needed
• Drive and follow up on actions related to the work environment
• Collaborate with internal and external actors, such as property functions, HR, safety organizations, and occupational health services
• Contribute to the development of work methods, routines, and documentation within your area

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education, for example in work environment or as assessed equivalent by the employer
• Experience in practical work environment efforts, preferably in larger organizations
• Good knowledge of work environment legislation and experience with SAM
• Experience in property-related work environment issues
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

We value personal qualities such as service orientation, flexibility, and responsibility. You are structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy collaborating and communicating with various actors, and you work just as well independently as in a team.

Meritorious

• Experience working in a laboratory environment
• Experience working in operations with older premises or specially adapted environments
• Experience collaborating with property managers and external suppliers
• Experience in incident investigations and preventive work environment efforts

Conditions

The employment begins with a six-month probationary period.
